I didn’t have to travel very far to gather my offerings for this week’s photo challenge from A Word in Your Ear. All the photos were taken at or near my home in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania (which also happens to be one of my favorite places on earth.)
{ A cold and snowy winter playground }
{ Spring showers }
{ Steamy summer thunderstorm }
{ The promise of a fresh start }
{ Autumn morning mist }
{ My idea of perfect weather }

The first reblogged post from Wandrin’Round in response to the A WORD A WEEK PHOTO CHALLENGE _ WEATHER. Nice photos showing a range of weather situations
As always, amazing photos, you always make my day!
Oh sorry, thought I was posting on skinnywench’s blog. She always sends me to the coolest photo sites! I am a new fan!
No problem. Thanks for stopping by.
Stunning selection .. the lightning is my pick – all very good.
Thank you! The lightning photo was a fluke. It’s very tricky to capture.
I know … but good photo is 95% luck. Well done.
What a beautiful range of photos! I’m not sure if my favorite is the thunderstorm or the autumn fields, but you definitely captured the exact feeling of each type of weather in your photos!
Thanks for the wonderful comments. I noticed that you live in Harrisburg – we are pracically neighbors. I loved your weather photos, too.
I did see that you live in Lancaster area – the quality of your photos makes me wonder if we’re seeing the same sky or if it’s just a little more dramatic 45 minutes south…
love
Gorgeous shots! Especially the lightening and the rainbow.
Thank you. And thanks for stopping by my blog.
I can never manage the lightning shots. Well done!
Thanks! Lightning is tricky, that’s for sure. Capturing that strike was pure luck.
